Attendance
HILLGROVE ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
What do I need to know about attendance?
- Excused Absences/Tardies
- We require an excuse note for each absence/tardy. You can download an Absence Note or send an email to HillgroveHSSupport@cobbk12.org.
- You must submit an absence note within three business days of the absence/tardy.
- Early Checkouts
- We request an early dismissal note for each early release. You can download an Early Dismissal Note or send an email to Lisa.Daves@cobbk12.org.
- If a student is driving, we require an email or note for all early dismissals with the student's full name, stating they are a driver, and the time of dismissal. Students cannot be dismissed without written authorization. All student drivers will need to sign out in the attendance office.
- If a student is not a driver and requires an early dismissal, the person picking up the student must come inside to the attendance office and provide proper ID.
- Students may pick up an early dismissal pass in the attendance office the morning of the date of early dismissal.
- Certificate of Enrollment
- Between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., students may come to the Attendance Office to order a Certificate of Enrollment. The cost is $2, and it will be ready for pickup in the attendance office within 24-48 hours, or the certificate may be ordered online at myypaymentsplus.com.
