2025 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)

Kell High School is proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement in the 2025 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), Georgia's comprehensive accountability measure for schools.
This year, Kell earned a CCRPI score of 90.3 — an impressive 12.3 points above the state average and 10.4 points above the district average. Most notably, Kell recorded the highest score increase among all high schools in the Cobb County School District (CCSD).
This success is the result of years of consistent, deliberate progress. Since 2019, Kell has climbed dramatically in district rankings — moving from the 13th highest CCRPI score to the 6th highest this year.
The CCRPI evaluates schools across five key components: Content Mastery, Closing the Achievement Gap, Progress, Graduation Rate, and Readiness. Kell demonstrated significant gains in every single area, with standout improvements in:
- Graduation rate, which rose to an outstanding 93.8%
- Advanced Placement (AP) participation and performance, where 86% of students who took AP exams in 2025 scored a 3 or higher — earning valuable college credit before graduation
- SAT scores, which increased by 30 points
These accomplishments earned Kell recognition once again on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best High Schools in the Nation” list — a distinction we have proudly held for six consecutive years.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering dedication of our exceptional teaching staff. Kell educators invest in students every day, fostering success both inside and beyond the classroom through leadership in our renowned Fine Arts programs, athletic teams, honor organizations, clubs, and innovative STEM Academy.
These honors reflect the living reality of Kell High School’s mission: One Team. One Goal. Student Success.
We are deeply grateful to our talented students, committed teachers, and supportive community — and we look forward with excitement to even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
