Advanced Placement (AP) Courses offer students the opportunity to experience the rigor of college-level content and coursework, earning college credit before graduating from high school.

AP Exam Information
AP Exams are not required for Kell High School AP Students, but they are highly encouraged to take them for the opportunities such exams offer.

Fee Structure
- Cost for first exam: $114 ($99 exam fee + $15 registration fee)
- Base cost for all other exams: $99 each
- Late Ordering Fee Window 1 (February 23, 2026, for 2nd semester courses): $10
- Late Ordering Fee Window 2 (March 2, 2026, for 2nd semester courses): $40
- Order Deadline: March 6, 2026 at 11:59pm
Fee Structure for STEM Exams
Pre-Calc, Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Computer Science Courses
- Cost for the first STEM exam: $15 (free exam + $15 admin fee)
- If a student registers and does not sit for the exam, a $40 cancellation fee will be assessed, and a hold may be placed on the student’s account.
- Cost for any additional STEM exams: $99 each
- Students should answer “yes” to the registration question regarding STEM exams. Qualification will be verified before payment is processed.
