SHARE
Our students FILLED THE SPIRIT BUSSES and made the LONG trip to Macon! Thank you for the energy you brought to the games!
March 9, 2023 was a historic night for Kell High School.
Surrounded by thousands of fans and a packed student section, the Longhorn Nation was able to see our basketball teams win not one, but two state championships!
In the first game of the day, the Lady Longhorns took control early on and never let up, ultimately defeating Warner Robins 57-36.The Demons were no match for the continual scoring of the Longhorns.
Game two saw the number 1 and 2 teams in the state battling. The Boys also took control early on but the game got interesting in the 3rd quarter as Eagles Landing took the lead. However, a few clutch free throws and timely dunks broke the spirit of Eagles Landing as the boys prevailed 61 - 53.
It was a historic night for not one, but two State Championship Trophies.
