How will I know if my child has visited the clinic?

The District has a new app called MyCabinet that will show a record of all visits to the clinic. Please download the application to your phone for easy access.

What do I do if my child needs to take medication at school?

Please make a visit to the school to speak with the school nurse, complete the proper medication forms, and sign in the medication to the clinic.

Children are not permitted to carry medication with them without the proper documentation. They must take medication under supervision.

If your child has special medical needs, please contact the school nurse discuss.

Do I need to alert the school if my child is out sick?

Yes. Please contact the school nurse if your child is sick (i.e. - Flu, Covid, Eye infection, Lice, etc.). We must be able to document illnesses within a classroom.

You may also alert the classroom teacher, but sending a message to the school nurse must be done. You may send a message through CTLS or email.

If there are multiple students, the the classroom, with the illness, we will follow the proper protocols to notify families in that classroom.

**Only medical issues reported by way of a note/medical doctor's excuse, may be used to document an absence as excused.
