Nickajack is proud to offer support for students with special needs K-5.

Our school serves students in the general education classroom (shared classrooms) and the following programs:

• Autism Bridge (K-2 grades)
• Autism Integrated (3-5 grades)
• Foundational Classroom (3-5 grades)

We enjoy celebrating the unique qualities of all our students!

Each month our students run a Kindness Cart, where they take treats around to staff. Students are able to work on their speech skills, interactions, and other IEP goals and objectives.

We also host a big celebration during Exceptional Children's Month and allow our teachers to share with our school the amazing qualities of our students.

Just before Meet and Greet on July 30 at 8:00am in our gymnasium, families of children with special needs may join us for a special meeting to:

• Meet the Student Services Administrator
• Meet teaching staff
• Learn about the program at Nickajack
• Ask questions

Directly following the meeting at 8:30am, families may attend their child's Meet and Greet.
