Nickajack offers after-school options for students.  Listed below are our teacher sponsored clubs.

Math Team

Sponsor Karen Harrison Description Student groups work to solve Math Olympiad problems. The competitive team, represented by four team members, will compete in a county-wide tournament against other schools at the end of the school year. When October - May Mondays 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Requirements 4th and 5th grade students will complete a math assessment. The 12 highest scoring students are selected for the team. The competitive team of four will be selected from this group. Cost No cost to join club. Team T-shirts ($15-$20) will be offered but are not mandatory.

Science Olympiad

Sponsors Katelyn Ladd Description Student team will prepare for the district wide Science Olympiad competition. When October - March Wednesdays 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Requirements 4th and 5th grade students will complete a science assessment. The top 8 5th graders and top 12 4th graders are selected for the team. Cost No cost to join club. $12-$15 for team T-shirt. Members provide snacks and water for the group on a rotating schedule.
