We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting our 18th Annual Shop with a Warrior (SWAW) at full strength this year on Saturday, December 11th.  For those who are not familiar with the program, NCHS students form teams of 2-4 students to take a student from one of our feeder elementary schools shopping for Christmas gifts for their family.  Each SWAW team raises and donates $100 to be used for the shopping trip to our local Walmart. The teams and their little shoppers ride a school bus to Walmart, shop, and then return to NCHS to wrap the gifts they have purchased before they head home.  We hope to be able to send each little shopper home with a goodie bag that includes a blanket, some healthy snacks, and a little candy as well.  We typically have about 100 little shoppers, so we need 100 NCHS teams.

What can you do?

Encourage your student to participate in this worthwhile and heartwarming event. Team form packet is posted below.

Donate funds to be used to purchase items for the goodie bags (Teddy Grahams, clementines, warm blankets, candy, water, juice, fruit snacks, etc.) or other supplies like gift bags, tape, and bows, or donate those items yourself.  We have plenty of wrapping paper, thanks. Donations will be accepted on mypaymentsplus.com soon.

Volunteer to work at SWAW on December 11th.  We need helpers to assist the kids with wrapping as well as clean up after the event. Shifts will generally be from 10:00 -1:00.
