Congratulations to Our STAR Student and Teacher!

Samuel White (Class of 2024) has been named the North Cobb High School STAR student for the 2023-24 school year. To be nominated as a STAR student, Georgia high school students meet several criteria, including having the highest SAT score at their schools on any single test date through November of their senior year and being in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average.
High school STAR Students are asked to name their STAR Teacher, who continue with their STAR Students at every level of the program. The educator the student chooses may be any Pre-K through 12 classroom teacher in good standing in an accredited Georgia school system or private school.
Samuel White and Ms. Cathie Lawson attended the STAR banquet on Tuesday, February 13th to be recognized.
