I am truly honored to be the principal of THE South Cobb High School, a pillar in the Austell community for over sixty years.  It is my privilege to work alongside a dedicated staff and flourishing community to ensure our students are ultimately positioned for success.  We will continue to always put our students first and cultivate a school culture rich with academic excellence and strong positive relationships.  I will continue to foster a healthy collaboration among all stakeholders in this next year for THE South Cobb High School.

I have served with the Cobb County School District since 2008 as a Math teacher at Garrett Middle School, an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Pebblebrook High School, and as an Assistant Principal at Dickerson Middle School.  I look forward to continuing this journey of working with students, staff, and community members to foster an engaging, learning atmosphere.

I am honored to serve South Cobb High School as the Magnet Coordinator/Assistant Principal. I discovered many years ago my passion for sharing my love for science with students and assisting them with making plans for their future. I believe that great things will happen when we (educators, parents, and students) all work as a team.

I am a native of the great state of Tennessee. My husband Andre and I have four amazing children: Asia, Kameron, Andre, Jr, and Zoë.  Most of my spare time is spent at the soccer field or track watching my children compete. However, I also enjoy going to local festivals, traveling, and reading.  I am also Cleveland sports fan.

I am excited and humbled to serve as assistant principal at South Cobb High School. My vision is to serve the South Cobb family by establishing trust and relationships with all Stakeholders. I received my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I also earned my credentials in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

My wife Margaret and I have three children: Jaylen, Maegan, and Maleah. They keep us very busy. You will likely find me at weekend gymnastics, basketball, or football games.
