Advanced Content (AC)
Advanced Content (AC) Math services are offered to those students in 4th and 5th grades who meet the qualifying criteria. Students are taught by a gifted-certified teacher, Mrs. Morelli, in a pull-out setting. AC Math qualifying criteria are listed below.
Families of qualifying AC Math students for the 2025-2026 school year were notified through a message in CTLS on July 18, 2025. If you did not receive communication, your child did not meet the requirements for AC Math for this school year.
AC Math placement is determined by multiple criteria set by Cobb County School District (CCSD). The criteria used for the 2025-2026 school year is listed below. Students are required to meet the criteria in ALL three areas to be eligible to receive AC Math services. All students must maintain satisfactory classroom performance (greater or equal to 80% average) each quarter to continue to receive AC Math instruction.
East Side Elementary 4th grade (all 3 criteria must be met for eligibility)
