The principal of Nicholson Elementary nominated Dana, the school's cafeteria manager, for a SKITTS award in kindness. Here are the incredible things that were said about Mrs. Dana.

"Putting Dana into words is near impossible.  Dana is a well-rounded person who is strong in all areas. A stranger would first notice that Dana is the type of person who will do anything for anyone at any time.  She will stop what she is doing to serve others without letting that person know they were an interruption.  She makes each person feel important and cared for. 

In the cafeteria, she is organized and patient.  She is calm and creates routines that make the chaos of feeding a school of students and staff happen smoothly.  She never complains and doesn’t make staff feel bad for last-minute requests when needed. She builds her team up and develops each member into a leader. 

She is always on top of her paperwork and ordering.  She ensures all students are provided what they need and reaches out to families that could use more support. Dana is the best of the best.  We are so thankful for her and all she does."
