Griffin Middle School is pleased to announce that we will have a CITA Application Workshop available for students interested in attending the Cobb Innovation and Technology Academy (CITA) on Friday, November 5th. The workshop will be held in the 8th Grade Lab from 1:00 until 2:35 p.m.
This will be an excellent time for students to work and receive feedback on their applications. To make this a more meaningful experience, we suggest that students become familiar with the pathways offered at CITA, know your two recommenders, and have a general idea of why you are interested in the program to help you write your personal statement. Lastly, you will need to inform your parent/guardian of your interest in attending CITA and obtain their permission. As part of the application, there is a space provided to type in your parents/guardians' name granting their permission for you to be considered for admission. You will also need your parent/guardian's email address to complete the application.
