Before joining Hoya Nation, Jeff spent 18 years with the Cobb County School District. Beginning his career at Wheeler High School, Jeff was a Special Education teacher before moving to the Physical Education department where he served as department chair. During his nine-year tenure at Wheeler, Jeff also served as a coach of various sports including head baseball and head softball coach. After leaving Wheeler, Jeff joined the administrative team at Walton High School for three years and served as the assistant athletic director. In 2016 Jeff was named the athletic director at Kell High School where he served two years before returning to Walton. In 2023, Jeff joined the Harrison Hoyas as an assistant principal, and in 2024, he was named the principal of Harrison. Jeff brings 12 total years of adminsitrative experience to the Harrison High School administrative team.
Jeff is a native of Kennesaw, Georgia, and is very familiar with the Cobb County School District. He graduated from North Cobb High School in 2000. Jeff attended Augusta University where he played baseball and earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Since his time in Augusta, Jeff continued his education earning advanced degrees in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University and Berry College. In 2020, he completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
Jeff and his wife Erin have three children, Ellie (15), Grace (14), and Bennett (10). Erin also serves as teacher at Dues West Elementary where she has taught various grades since 2007. Jeff is excited to continue to be a part of Hoya Nation for the 2025-26 school year.
