Cobb High Schools & Cobb Lutheran Coalition partner with Habitat for Humanity to build a home!

Cobb students giving back to the community! This is Hillgrove's 7th year as part of the Cobb HS Coalition of Habitat for Humanity. Each year, schools in the coalition raise funding to build someone a home. To qualify for a home with our affiliate NW Metro HFH, the applicant must meet strenuous requirements: be a US citizen, be a first-time homeowner, live or work in Cobb, Douglas, or Paulding County for at least 1 year, must have lived independently for 1 year, and meet household income requirements. The selection process is based on the need for housing, willingness to partner (200 hours of sweat equity and 100 hours of homeowner education) and the ability to pay a mortgage. Read more about it in the Marietta Daily Journal article. For more information on volunteering, donating or homeownership with visit NWMetro Atlanta HFH.
