Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: United In Culture & Creativity
SHARE
This year’s Hispanic Heritage Month was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and community spirit. We kicked things off with an unforgettable Spirit Week, which saw the highest participation rate in school history. Students and staff alike embraced the festivities with themed outfits, cultural pride, and joyful energy. Our Hispanic Heritage Festival took on a fresh new format as a kermes, inviting families and community members to share their heritage and experience others’. The event featured delicious food and beverages, lively dancing, face-painting, and a stunning art installation created by our talented art students—truly a feast for the senses and a celebration of unity.
We concluded the month with a wonderful student assembly that showcased the incredible talents of our young performers and creators. Theatre students, dancers, singers, the Cardinal Chorus, and Cardinal Orchestra all took the stage, while many others worked behind the scenes to bring the event to life. This unforgettable month was made possible by the dedication of the Hispanic Heritage Committee: Sra. Amaya, Sra. Campos, Sr. Gray, Ms. Grayson, Sra. Hernandez, Sr. Jordan, Ms. Norwood, Sra. Rubenstein, Sra. Soto, and Dr. Sturtevant. Their vision and hard work brought our school community together in celebration, reflection, and joy.
