The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl is a quiz-style buzzer bowl held in January each year. Students interested in participating on Palmer's Reading Bowl team next year should begin reading the 2024 Georgia Book Award nominees for middle school over the summer. You can find the book award list here https://bit.ly/Palmerhrrb24. Be sure to only read from the 10 books for grades 6-8. It is important that students read as many books as possible from this list so that the majority of the club meetings are focused on practicing for the competition.
