The Russell Elementary All-Star Chorus is comprised of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who demonstrate both an aptitude and love of singing. The club is designed to empower children to develop their love of music while increasing their confidence and self-discipline as students. The RES All-Star chorus is committed to developing the Whole Child through the power of music.

Fit Club

The mission of the Fit Club is to improve the fitness levels of students through the use of physical activities and healthy food choices.  The goal of the club is to create lifelong learners while promoting healthy lifestyles.  The club is open to students in grades 3-5.

5th grade patrollers put up and take down the USA flag, assist in the cafeteria, and direct the flow of traffic in the hallway. They also serve as models for younger children, who look up to them.

STEAM Club - Robotics

Simultaneous classes in separate rooms

K-1 use coding based robots, that introduce the students to very basic engineering and intro to coding concepts.  Our 2nd -5th robot students work their way through age appropriate build with specific goals set for each week, session, and year based on the students experience and achievements.  The robots are Lego platform, but they are embedded with simple machine engineering concepts, gradually integrating gears, pullies and sensors to achieve a new challenge each week.  All of these builds also require coding.  Classes will be dependent on enrollment.  Visit www.thesteamclub.com to sign up for classes at Russell Elementary and/or email jaime@thesteamclub.com for more information. Russell's student council consists of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who will be given the opportunity to come up with ideas to make our school better. Each member of the Student Council gets the opportunity to actively participate in schoolwide activities, make decisions, and see democracy in action.

Russell Club Guidelines

*All clubs have a $10 participation fee.  The $10 fee for the club will be applied to the club's account.

*If a student is placed in ASP for not being picked up on time, the $10 participation fee can be refunded back to the parent to be applied to ASP for registration.  ASP is a prepaid service.  The daily fee is $7.  After a student is placed in ASP two times with the fee being paid, the student will no longer be able to participate in the club.

*Students will not be able to participate in clubs if they have an outstanding balance of more than $14 with ASP.

*Clubs may have additional fees.
