A Message from Principal Clinton
Dear Argyle Families,
I am excited to begin my second year at Argyle Elementary! Our theme this year is One Team, One Goal, No Limits! As the Argyle staff, we pride ourselves in being a team who is dedicated to one goal which is student success! You play an important role on our team as you support students at home, volunteer at school, and attend school events. Contact your child’s teacher, our administrators, or our parent facilitator to inquire about engagement opportunities. Another way to get involved is to join our wonderful PTA. Membership information will be sent home soon.
This year, we are happy to welcome, LeShon Graham as our new Assistant Principal. We are both excited about this upcoming school year and will continue to strive to make Argyle the best place to teach, lead and learn. This means we will continue to seek out ways to continue what’s great about Argyle and introduce instructional and extracurricular programs that will enhance learning and interest -based experiences for all students.
I will continue to have various input meetings throughout this school year. You will be able to meet with me and share your feedback and thoughts about issues related to students and our school. These meetings will be Title I, School Council, and Coffee and Conversation. Invitations will be sent out before each meeting. I look forward to our time together as you share your insight and input.
Thank you for your continued support,
Georgette Clinton, Ed. S.
A Message from Assistant Principal Graham
Hello Argyle Family,
I am honored to have the wonderful opportunity to serve and support you in my role as your Assistant Principal for the 2019-2020 school year. I come to you with 20 years of experience as an educator and have spent 17 of those years in the Cobb County School District. During my time in education I have taught first through fifth grades, done some problem solving as a Math Lab Teacher, supported teachers as an Academic Coach, and supported school initiatives as a School Leadership Intern. My many experiences have prepared me for the awesome journey that I am embarking upon here at Argyle.
I am an alumna of Spelman College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Development. My time at Central Michigan University delivered a Master of Education Degree, and my Specialist Degree in Leadership was completed at Berry College.
When I am not working, you will most likely find me near a baseball field, or a basketball court. I have two middle school boys who keep my husband and me very busy with sports on the weekends. When we are on breaks from sports, I enjoy traveling.
I am looking forward to the school year and getting to know our school community. You have my commitment that I will work with all stakeholders to ensure that our students are the best they can be academically and as people. We are going to have a fantastic year! Our success has no limits!
LeShon Graham, Assistant Principal
