Dual Credit
Get high school credit and college credit at the same time with classes at a local college or university through a program called Dual Credit (DE).
Honors and Advanced Placement (AP)
Want a challenge? Students who meet academic criteria and receive teacher recommendations may enroll in honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Students in AP courses must sit for an AP exam. Depending on your test scores, you may be able to receive college credits; however, AP credit policy varies between institutions. Please verify the policy of the colleges or universities you wish to attend.
Online Courses
Students may choose to take online academic courses through Cobb Virtual Academy (CVA) or Georgia Virtual School (GAVS). Please speak to your counselor to learn more.
After-School Tutoring Program
Sometimes you just need a little bit of extra help; we’re here for you. Tutoring takes place in room 2414 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:35 to 4:30 p.m. Please be on time. We do not provide transportation home.
Teachers work with groups of students in English, mathematics, science, and social studies. Contact us for a private tutor referral list.
