OHS FBLA Chapter Holds New Member Ceremony

On October 7, 2021, Osborne High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter conducted a New Member Induction and Emblem ceremony. At the time of the ceremony, 37 new members were inducted, including 10 prior year members. Chapter President Luis Calderon was there to welcome everyone and lead the emblem ceremony, with the help of Vice President, Jessica Segura. The afternoon program also included guest speaker, Ms. Sara Sorenson, local attorney and President of the Smyrna Business Association (SBA). Ms. Sorenson shared with chapter members her career path and the mission of the SBA. Following the ceremony, members and guests attended a reception to network and enjoy some refreshments.

Osborne’s FBLA chapter is affiliated with Georgia FBLA and the national FBLA-PBL organization. Georgia FBLA is a nonprofit student organization committed to preparing today’s students for success in business leadership. The mission of Osborne’s FBLA is to develop business leaders through service, education and social opportunities.
