Advanced Placement Program

Dear AP Students and Families,
This is a reminder that AP exam payment is now open through Total Registration for the 2026–2027 school year.
AP Exam Payment deadline: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 10:00 p.m.
The cost is:
- $99 per AP exam
- $15 one-time administrative fee per student (covers local testing center logistics and proctoring)
For example:
- 1 exam = $114 total; 2 exams = $213 total; 3 exams = $312 total; 4 exams = $411 total
What You Need to Do
- If your student plans to take an AP exam this May, please make sure payment has been submitted through Total Registration before the November 4 deadline.
- Total Registration: totalregistration.net/ap/111998
- If you have already completed payment, no further action is needed.
More information
- Please do not wait until the deadline to complete registration. College Board charges a $40 late fee per exam for exams ordered after the deadline.
- Fee Reductions & Assistance: College Board offers exam fee reductions for eligible students who demonstrate financial need. If your family qualifies for the Federal Free/Reduced Lunch program or needs financial assistance, please contact me confidentially as soon as possible so we can lower your per-exam cost.
- The State of Georgia will pay the exam fee for one AP STEM exam for eligible students. The waiver applies to AP exams in qualifying STEM courses (Science, Math, Computer Sciences exams only). If your student is taking a qualifying AP STEM course, the cost of that exam will be covered by the state. The $15 one-time administrative fee still applies. Additional AP exams, including additional STEM exams, are subject to the regular $99 exam fee.
If you have questions about payment, exam registration, or financial assistance, please contact me at scott.chruszcz@cobbk12.org.
Thank you,
