August 11, 2026 — In honor of the school's 40th anniversary, Pope High School is getting ready to host PopeFest on Matt Hobby Field on Friday, August 14. The event will include live music, food, and fireworks to close out an exciting, fun-filled night. A portion of the proceeds from PopeFest will go to the American Heart Association as part of Cobb’s continued commitment to supporting the organization. That commitment was recently highlighted when the Cobb County School District became the first in the nation to raise more than $1 million for the American Heart Association.
Location: Matt Hobby Field at Pope High School (3001 Hembree Road, Marietta, GA 30062)
Admission: Current Pope students and staff can redeem complimentary general admission tickets through GoFan using a promo code. General admission for all other attendees is $10. VIP tickets, which include food and beverages throughout the night, are $75. Parking passes are $10. Additional online fees apply to the ticket and parking purchases. In addition to listening to live music, attendees will also have the opportunity to try some of the best local food Cobb has to offer. Food vendors in attendance include Marlow's Tavern, Pero's, Righteous 'Que, Zama's Mexican Cuisine, Powdered Swirl Funnel Cakes, Fluffing It Up Cotton Candy, Kirby Creations, The Pitt Stop, Yeero Village, Fizzy Co, Silly Little Lemons, and Snowie Atlanta Creations.
Along with music, food, and fireworks, there will also be an artisan market featuring local businesses and showcasing all the community has to offer.
