The National Merit Scholarship Program has recognized the following Pope seniors as National Merit SEMI-FINALISTS due to their 2024 PSAT score being in the top 1% of students nationwide. Only 16,000 students across the country have earned this recognition. These four students will continue on in the scholarship competition for monetary awards and hopefully be named as National Merit Finalists in February.

In Addition, the National Merit Scholarship program has recognized the following Pope seniors as COMMENDED Students due to their 2024 PSAT score being in the top 96% of students nationwide. Only 34,000 students across the country have earned this recognition. These students do not continue on for Finalist recognition, but may receive monetary awards later in the year through corporate sponsored scholarships.
