It’s time to mark your calendars for the annual McCleskey Middle School community event from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on April 25. McCleskey students, staff, and the school foundation are hosting Dragonpalooza, a schoolwide showcase for the community of student musical performances, artwork, clubs, STEAM projects, and even TED talks.

Take a tour of the school’s STEAM lab or explore the craft fair spotlighting products from members of the community.

Due to the event’s popularity in past years, the school plans to welcome hundreds, if not thousands.

All are welcome to attend the free community event. There will be door prize drawings throughout the evening (no purchase necessary) and a silent auction with items from generous donors. Concessions will also be available for purchase on the night of the event. All proceeds raised will benefit the McCleskey School Foundation and help to fund STEAM initiatives at the school. Reinforcing the impact of those STEAM initiatives, eventgoers will see STEAM projects from each grade level. Inside the STEAM lab, guests will see 3-D printer demonstrations.

Students, parents, and community members will be able to explore the school and get a taste of all the magic happening inside. Learn what happens inside the school’s student clubs and how the Physical Education Department’s Heart Zone monitors work.

Dragonpalooza will double as the school’s international night to showcase McCleskey’s diverse cultures this year.Dragonpalooza%202024%20-%20Final.jpeg
