The McClure Olympics are back after a two year absence and we are excited for you to take part! Olympics at McClure Middle School is a special time and event that usually occurs at the end of the year for all students to showcase enthusiasm, excellence, to be encouraging, and to demonstrate ingenuity. Within the Olympics more specifically students will demonstrate country spirit, sportsmanship, answer questions in the academic bowl, and participate in athletic/field day events. It is an event like no other that unifies our school, promotes healthy competition, and celebrates the achievements of our students on a large scale. Let the games begin!
It is time for you to sign up for your events.
In order to sign up you will need to know what nation your homeroom is a part of:
6th Grade:
- Australia: Anderson, Brewer, Holder, W. Leonard, Marques, Ussery, White
- Brazil: Burchette, Crowe, Limpert, Towns
- Canada: Arnold, Davis, DiTomasso, Heaton, Matte, Young
7th Grade:
- China: Blessington, Lieu, Tremont, Wood
- Japan: Cera, Campbell, Fisher, Kelemencky
- Kenya: Brewer, Brown, Buffington, Fenton, Vickery, White
8th Grade:
- France: Floyd, Kay, Ling, Keyser
- Italy: Horsley, Jezerinac, Osborne, Vandrisse
- Spain: Hill, Myer, C. Smith, Watson
There are three categories or time slots for you to sign up. You will need to sign up for two activities in each category, a first choice and a second choice. Here are the activities that you have to choose from:

Note: Your first and second choices for each category must be two different events. If you do not sign up/choose your activities, they will be chosen for you.
