Attention ALL 6th & 7th Graders!!!!

Do you like to help others? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others?  If so, then we have a club for you.  The McClure’s National Junior Honor Society will be accepting applications for induction into our chapter starting this Friday, March 24th.  There are academic and behavior requirements that must be met to be considered for acceptance.  You must have a GPA of 3.5 in your academic classes and have a good behavior record. The application window will be open this Friday, March 24th through April 9th.  Please remember that NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Eligibility for Consideration for Membership in the McClure Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society:

• Currently enrolled for a minimum of 18 weeks as a 6th or 7th grade student at McClure Middle School
• Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 or above in ACADEMIC CLASSES ONLY, calculated in the SPRING (following the 3rd Nine Week Report Cards) for school year 2022-2023
• ZERO days of OSS (Out of School Suspension) assigned for school year 2022-2023
• No more than ONE day of ISS (In School Suspension) assigned for the school year 2022-2023
• TWO Teacher Recommendations scoring a MINIMUM of 20 of the 24 points possible on BOTH recommendations (Students will choose 2 teachers for the recommendations as part of the application process. (Teacher recommendations are private and will not be shared.)
• Submit completed application by the specified deadline - LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
