Monday through Wednesday students have 7 periods (math, ELA, science, social studies, reading/writing, and two connections). On Thursday and Friday, students have 8 periods (math, ELA, science, social studies, reading/writing, two connections, and CLIMB.

The Thursday CLIMB period will be focused on enrichment and remediation for students based on summative assessment scores (like chapter tests). The Friday CLIMB period will be focused on enrichment and remediation for students based on CLIMB behavior expectation accomplishments for the week.

In addition to the support students receive during the CLIMB Period, students also receive support based on weekly achievement data. Students receive new instruction in all classes Monday through Thursday. On Friday, students receive instructional support (time to work on what they did really well on during the week or time to work on what they need extra support on during the week). Instructional support days are our way to help students be as successful as possible on their current chapters or units of study being taught. The CLIMB Period is our way to help students still master the standards even after a chapter test/unit of study has been completed. It also allows teachers opportunities to further extend learning for those students who did show mastery of the standards on chapter/unit tests.
