Lassiter Speech & Debate earns 12 awards at Carter/King Invitational

Lassiter's Speech & Debate team walked away with 12 awards, including four Champion awards and two Runner Up awards at this past weekend's 15th Annual Carter/King Invitational at Midtown High School. The Champions were honored with a signed copy of Jimmy Carter's Nobel Prize Speech. The team earned Champion and Runner Up awards in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Congress, Dramatic Interpretation, Program of Oral Interpretation, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Original Oratory. The team has now earned an impressive 87 awards so far this season. See the full list of award winners.
