LHS STEM Academy offers a rigorous inquiry and research based education program focusing on three pathways: accelerated science and math pathway, biomedical, and engineering pathway. The STEM curriculum culminates with student designed senior capstone research and internships connecting with local business and institution partners for real world experiences.
LHS STEM students are required to take STEM specific science, math, and foundations courses based on the pathway selected. However, the students take the rest of their courses at an honors or AP level with other highly accelerated Lassiter students. We are constantly adjusting and adding to our curriculum to meet the needs and expectations of our students.
The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
