12th Grade Parent Night
Monday, August 8, 2022 - 6pm, Lassiter Concert Hall
Senior Parents are invited to join the Lassiter School Counselors in the Concert Hall for a presentation focusing on how to set your student up for success during their senior year and beyond. We will discuss how to narrow down your student’s college/program list, the application process, Naviance, HOPE Scholarship and Financial Aid opportunities a long with other important and exciting Senior things!
9th Grade Parent Night
Tuesday, August 16, 2022 - 6pm, Lassiter Concert Hall
Freshmen Parents are invited to join the Lassiter School Counselors in the Concert Hall for a presentation on the transition to both High School and Lassiter. We will discuss people to know, promotion/graduation requirements, different GPA types, what colleges are looking for and the tools for success in high school and beyond. We are excited to welcome you and your students to Lassiter!
Financial Aid Night
Wednesday, October 12, 2022 - 6pm, Lassiter Concert Hall
Junior and Senior Parents are encouraged to come and learn about financial aid, federal and state aid and FAFSA from a Representative from the GA Student Finance Commission.
Schedule for Success: Honors and AP Explored
Monday, January 30, 2023 - 6pm, Lassiter Theater
Current Rising 9th Grade Parents are invited to come and learn about course offerings and honors expectations from the experts- subject area teachers! Goal is to help parents understand the importance of a challenging schedule and get questions answered to help prepare for the student’s upcoming high school registration.
Dual Enrollment Night
Thursday, March 9th 6pm, Lassiter Theater
Dual Enrollment Night is mandatory for parents and students if student is wanting to participate in Dual Enrollment for the 2023-24 school year (rising juniors and seniors). Learn about the pros and cons and the logistics associated with Dual Enrollment.
Rising 9th Grade Night
Monday, March 13, 2023 - 6-8pm, drop in main building
Rising 9th Grade Parents and Students are invited for this drop in event. Join us to get a preview into life at Lassiter and learn about the various opportunities for involvement. Students representatives from clubs, sports, and academic will be spread throughout the school with displays and information.
