Trojan Boys Soccer win second State Championship in a row

The Lassiter boys soccer team completed a historic back-to-back state championship run on Friday night with a 3-2 overtime win over River Ridge in the 6A finals. Tyler Aromin scored two goals, including the game-winner, while Aiden McConnie had the other goal. Rollie Scott, Charlie Alexander, and Cole Higgins had the assists on the goals. The Trojans finished the season with a record of 18-2, which included a region championship, and are currently the top-ranked team in the nation according to Max Preps.
