Lassiter Speech & Debate has successful first competition of the year

Five Lassiter Speech & Debate students received awards for their performances at the Alpharetta Treasure Hunt Tournament on September 16. The competition included 347 competitors from 29 Georgia schools. Lassiter students earning recognition included:
Zarah Scott - 2nd in Informative Speaking Isabel Hollhumer – 3rd in Informative Speaking Emma Rasco – 3rd in Dramatic Interpretation Parker Glidewell – 7th in Impromptu Speaking Audrey Choate – 7th in Original Oratory
The next competition for Lassiter Speech and Debate will be the Ivy Street Invitational on September 29-30.
