Lassiter Track & Field athlete, J. Chege, breaks school triple jump record

J. Chege, a Lassiter multi-sport athlete, broke the school record in the boys triple jump with a jump of 45’10” at the sectional qualifying meet on Friday, May 3, 2024. The previous record of 45’4”, was set in 1983 by Lassiter student Jeff Dunigan. J. competes at state Thursday, May 9 at Barron Stadium in Rome, GA.
