PSE School Improvement Goals 2025-2026
ELA
Based on the fall AMIRA assessment, Kindergarten students in the at/above range will increase from TBD to TBD by the spring of the 25-26 school year.
Based on the Beacon assessment, the number of students in first through third grades will increase in the prepared category from 36% to 50% (spring 2026) by the spring of the 25-26 school year.

Based on the Milestones assessment, the number of students in third through fifth grades will increase from 65% (developing to distinguished) to 70% by the spring of the 25-26 school year.
Math
Based on the Beacon assessment given in 2026, the percentage of kindergarten students scoring in the prepared category will increase from 11% (2025) to 30% (2026) based on the winter Beacon assessment.
Based on the Beacon assessment, the number of students in first through third grades will increase in the prepared category from 38% (spring 2025 76/389 students) to 50% (spring 2026 195/389) by the spring of the 25-26 school year.

Based on the Milestones assessment, the number of students in fourth and fifth grades in the developing to distinguished range will increase from 189/278 students (74%) to 220/279 (79%) by the spring of the 25-26 school year.
Behavior
By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, discipline referrals will reduce from 213 to 191 (decrease by 10%).
PSE will decrease the number of daily referrals by 10% on Tuesdays (50 to 45) and Wednesdays (56 to 50) for the 2025-2026 school year.
The PBIS team will complete one walkthrough quarterly during class meetings for every homeroom teacher during the 2025-2026 school year (PBIS, Zones, Circles).
