Allatoona’s Special Education department works hard to give young adults an opportunity to learn general educational skills and social skills. Buc Brew, Allatoona’s morning coffee shop, is one of the many ways our wonderful staff provides these opportunities. Buc Brew is run by the students who are in need of learning social skills, while they learn to work together as a group, count money, take orders, cleaning and closing, and filling roles. The proceeds of purchases from Buc Brew help pay for the educational needs of the students who run Buc Brew. The shop is open every morning before school and delivers orders during the first period of school as well. Currently, the menu is similar to what it was in the past, with the beloved items that students have been buying for years. However, the teachers of this department are thinking about adding new items to the menu, like bagels and cream cheese. 

Here’s the current menu: 

• Muffins: Chocolate, Banana Nut, Blueberry, Cinnamon, Red Velvet (seasonal)- $2 
• Cappuccinos: Caramel, French Vanilla- $1 
• Coffee: Black or White- $1 
• Water- 50¢ 
• Tea and Lemonade- $1 
• Hot Chocolate- $1
