Allatoona’s artist of the week is senior Anna Cannon. She was nominated by chorus teacher Emily Cannon. She says, “Anna is an amazing young lady, and she works hard in chorus each day.  She is a member of the Advanced Women’s Chorus, Vice President of the chorus, a member of the theater program and One Act Play, and a mentor in both chorus and theater.  She is kind, a leader in our program, and is always willing to help others.  She is planning to major in Music Education and has done a tremendous job helping to build the AHS Chorus.” Anna has been pursuing chorus since fourth grade, making most of her friends from the chorus program. Chorus is a big passion for Anna, as she’d like to be a music teacher when she’s older. Anna’s advice to younger students is, “Keep working and don’t give up!” Congratulations to chorus’s artist of the week Anna Cannon, Allatoona is amazed by your talent and dedication! Keep being excellent.
