So many of our students here at Allatoona take advantage of our AP classes and the exams that come along with it. Our AP Scholars List came out last month, and there were over one hundred names of students at our school from the past year that made it! This list includes three types of rewards: AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, and AP Scholar with Distinction. In order to get the AP Scholar reward, students must have received a score of 3 or higher on 3 or more AP exams. To receive the AP Scholar with Honor reward, students must have an average score of at least a 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on 4 or more of these exams. Last, but not least, to be granted AP Scholar with Distinction, students must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on 5 or more of these exams! Students who received these awards can even cite them among their credentials on applications, résumés, and so on. What an accomplishment to those Buccaneers who made the list, and way to show off your smarts!
