Principal's Message

Hello Spartan Families,

Please check your student's grades on ParentVue and contact the teachers or your student's counselor if you have any concerns. Friday was the end of the second six weeks grading period.

Sign your student up to take on the challenge of Advanced Placement Testing (AP) testing and open doors to college credit and other advanced placement opportunities. Studies show that students who participate in AP exams are better prepared for college-level work and often earn higher scores. Signing up by November 8 if they are in a 1st semester AP class ensures they won’t miss out on this valuable chance to showcase their hard work and dedication. Let’s set them up for success—register today and help them reach their fullest potential! A flyer is attached below.

Please plan to join us for our upcoming Hybrid Parent Meetings on November 6 and November 8. The topics will be Career Pathways (CTAE classes) and Work-Based learning. This is in preparation for elective registration for 2025-26.

As we continue to focus on teaching and learning each day, and to encourage students to focus during each 90-minute block, students are expected and required to put their cell phones in a cell phone caddy that each teacher has in their classroom. We also ask that parents not call students during those 90 minutes of instructional time.

If your student needs tutoring assistance, there are attachments below for each of the academic content areas and World languages with teachers' tutoring schedules. We also have Power Surge this coming Saturday for Math and Social Studies.

The Student Behavior Contract Letter was shared with all parents/guardians at This is Sparta. All students received a copy on the first day of school and it was reviewed with students during the grade level assemblies. A copy of the letter is in the attachment below and will remain for the remainder of the school year. Please review the letter with your student.

Please note that there is a change this year to the Early Checkout TimeThe Early Checkout Time has been changed to 2:45 PM
