Hello Spartan Families, 

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is coming up and is May 5 - 9. Our PTSA will be assisting us with celebrating our teachers and staff each day this week. Please reach out to our teachers/staff to show them how much you appreciate their work and support of our students' success.  

End of Course Tests this week- Biology on May 5, Algebra I on May 8 and May 9. Please make sure that students come to rested and on time. 

As we countdown to the end of this school year, we want to remind parents that our seniors only have 5 days of school and two days of Final Exams, and our underclassmen only have 13 days of school. The final day for seniors is Tuesday, May 13The final day of school for underclassmen is May 21. Please continue to check ParentVue and communicate with your student's teachers and the counselors. 

The Must Ministries Neighborhood Food Pantry would like to extend an invitation to all CHS families who may be interested in receiving support from the monthly food distribution.  If you would like to register for this program, please email lara.fain@cobbk12.org for more information. 

The End of Course Test for Biology and Algebra I are this week. Please make sure that students come to school rested and on time.

If you have a student who will be withdrawing, please have them return their school laptop device and library books to the Learning Commons before withdrawing or before the end of the school year. This will expedite the withdrawal process. 

The calendar for the remainder of the year is also attached below. It contains dates for testing.



The Student Behavior Contract Letter was shared with all parents/guardians at This is Sparta. All students received a copy on the first day of school and it was reviewed with students during the grade level assemblies. A copy of the letter is in the attachment below and will remain for the remainder of the school year. Please review the letter with your student.

College and Career Center

Our College and Career Counselors, Ms. Young and Ms. Diaz-Brown are continuing to meet and work with our students. They are located in the offices across from the counseling office which is down the hall from the cafeteria.

All Campbell library books are due May 5th. Students with books checked out that do not return them by the end of the school year will be assessed a lost book fee in the MyPaymentsPlus. The lost book fee will be removed from MyPaymentsPlus once the book is returned, or the fee is paid. Please contact Martha.Blaydes@cobbk12.org if you have any questions.

We are excited to announce our Impact Prom scheduled for Saturday May 10 from 3-5 PM. The event is sponsored by our Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy and Campbell's Best Buddies. 

Registration is Open: Vision To Learn Summer Break 2025 at Cobb Libraries-Nine Cobb County Public Library locations will serve as sites for Vision To Learn mobile clinics in June and July to provide eye exams and glasses – free of charge – for children ages 5-18. The national nonprofit Vision To Learn has visited Cobb libraries since 2018 to serve children in need of vision care and glasses. Our new Music Tech Program is sponsoring a Music Tech showcase on Tuesday, May 13, at 6 PM with several of our music tech student's being featured and the Give A Note Foundation invited to celebrate our students' display of their talents. 




The annual CHS Who's Who and Senior Awards Night ceremony was held Monday, April 28. Over 100 Campbell seniors were recognized for their academic, athletic, and service-based success. Seventy students were named as Who's Who recipients, and local and national organizations came out to award thousands of dollars of scholarships to CHS seniors. 

Bootcamps to help students prepare for the EOCs- There is a flyer below for the Algebra I Bootcamp which will help students prepare for the End of Course Tests.

Summer School Information- Three Attachments Below

Attached is the flyer for the CCSD HS Summer School Credit Recovery Program.

  • CHS students will attend Wheeler HS
  • Up to 1.0 credit recovery course
  • Cost= FREE! (includes breakfast and lunch)
  • Transportation is provided from CHS to WHS. They do not pick up from student’s houses for summer school!
  • Students must attend all day, every day, unless they complete the course.
  • Families must attend Parent Orientation- dates and times listed on flyer.
  • Registration opens March 1 in PARENTVUE. Parents register students for credit recovery course.
  • Credit recovery ONLY, courses offered are attached!

The SkillsUSA student organization is opening NEW membership for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow their Personal, Workbased, and Technical skills. Students get involved with community service, practice Leadership skills, Competitions with peer across the state and even nationally.  Build a solid foundation for career and life success by Joining the Campbell chapter of SkillsUSA. IB News


Senior Parents:  IB Exams began Tuesday, May 29th with the IB Physics Exam. History is tomorrow, Monday, 5/5.  Please review the exam schedule with your student to make sure they arrive on time each. There are no late or make-up exams. And missing an exam will forfeit their diploma and IB Medal. 

IB Medal Ceremony - all seniors who sit for all of their paid exams and do not miss any exams are eligible to celebrate at the IB Medal Ceremony on 5/17 from 10-12. Each student will receive 5 tickets for family/friends. Dress, parking, and other information on the slide deck sent in Remind on 4/17. 

Junior parents: We had an amazing time at the Zoo two Fridays ago. I hope they had time to connect and relax before they take their first IB exam and AP exams. 

Important for ALL grade levels: 
  • Check out the information on supporting students with testing anxiety in our IB Insights slide deck that was sent through Remind. Lots of great tips from Dr. Bartolomucci on how to support your student, especially during testing season. 
  • Remember that students must make certain grades per the magnet contract. Probation or dismissal letters are sent at the end of the year. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Commencement Tickets


Seniors can log into their student portal to see how many tickets they have received for the 2025 Commencement Ceremony. Students can access their student portal using the following web address: https://studentportal.cobbk12.org. At this time, there are no additional ticket requests. IF additional tickets are available, a lottery system will used, and graduates will receive any additional tickets when graduation tickets are given out at the May 22nd graduation practice. Senior Walks
Class of 2025 - Get ready for your upcoming Senior Walks at your elementary school and middle school! Importantmost schools require you to RSVP and show up EARLY! They will start without you. See each school's website for RSVP and other information. See graphic below for approximate times, but check each school's website for exact times!





Class of 2025 Cap & Gown delivery took place on Wednesday, March 5th from 11:30-1:45 in the area outside of the PAC. Cap & Gown orders placed by February 14th should be available for pickupDecember graduates must check in at the front office before coming to pick up caps and gowns. If you have any questions about pick-up, please contact Dr. Dorrough (Jennifer.Dorrough@cobbk12.org). If additional dates for delivery are required, that will be communicated at a later date.


Campbell’s Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2025 will take place on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the KSU Convocation Center. Seniors should log into their student portal to request tickets for the commencement ceremony. Instructions to request tickets are attached below. Please note that this is a request and not a guarantee that the number of tickets requested will be honored due to the capacity limits and the size of the senior class.
