Summer School / Course Options

Spartan Families:

If your student needs to take advantage of course extension, summer school (course recovery) or wants to take a summer course for initial credit, please check out all of the possible options listed below.  Deadlines are approaching. Contact your child’s school counselor if you have any questions. 


  • CHS COURSE EXTENSION:
    • ELA, SCI, SS, & MATH - failures grade 60-69
    • DATES: May 31; June 1, 2, 3, 6, 7
    • 9am-12pm at CHS (Face to Face ONLY)
    • When students have completed their course work, they will not need to attend any additional days.
    • AP & IB classes are NOT eligible for Course Extension

  • CCSD SUMMER SCHOOL:
    • There is no cost for this program!
    • This is for credit recovery only -- must have already failed the course first.
    • Summer 2022 is Face-to-Face option only.
    • CHS students will attend South Cobb High School for summer school.
    • CHS summer school students will receive transportation to/from South Cobb High School each day from Campbell High School.  Transportation to Campbell High School is not offered.
    • Registration Dates:  May 3 - May 24
    • Registration is on ParentVue
    • Class dates: June 14 - July 8

  • COBB VIRTUAL ACADEMY:
    • $550 per 1.0 credit; $275 per .5 credit
    • Offers AP, Academics plus a few academic electives
    • Summer 2021 Registration; April 20 - May 24 at 12 pm.  
  • GEORGIA VIRTUAL SCHOOL
    • $500 per 1.0 course; $250 per .5 course
    • Offers Electives plus academics
    • Summer 2021 Register now through June 9th

  • pope-summer-pe-program-2021-2022.pdf (Face to Face Health & Personal Fitness Class)
    • Registration:  April 13 - May 20 or until Maximum spots are full.
    • Personal Fitness:  June 6-June 16
    • Health: June 20-Jun3 30
    • $275.00 per course (.5 credit per course)
    • All classes meet at Pope High School.
    • Daily attendance mandatory.
    • Students must provide their own transportation.
