Celebrating Heritage and Harmony: Campbell High School’s International Festival Shines Once Again

December 15, 2025 — Each year, the Campbell High School gymnasium transitions into a lively, colorful celebration of global traditions, and this year’s International Festival continued that proud tradition with energy that could be felt well beyond the packed bleachers.
Families, staff members, and students came together to honor the many cultures represented on campus, creating a day filled with music, movement, and meaningful connections. What began about three decades ago as a small cultural showcase has grown into one of Campbell’s most anticipated annual events.
Today, the International Festival is a moment for students to share pieces of their heritage—traditions that have shaped them at home, in their families, and throughout their time at Campbell. Every year, the festival reminds the community just how much pride students carry for those stories. The Parade of Nations opened this year’s event with the same excitement that has anchored the tradition from the start.
Students stepped into the gym wearing vibrant attire from countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Flags waved high as cheers filled the room, creating a joyful sense of unity that set the tone for the program ahead. For many families, it was a powerful moment to see their heritage celebrated so openly by the entire school community.
Campbell’s International Festival also reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and global understanding. As home to one of Cobb County School District’s premier magnet programs, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, Campbell nurtures students’ readiness for a connected world. The festival provides an opportunity for those values to shine outside the classroom.
For the Campbell community, the International Festival remains a highlight of the school year. It is a reminder that students not only bring their talents and hard work to school every day but also their histories, languages, and family traditions.
