Leadership

The CCSD Leadership Division consists of seven Assistant Superintendents overseeing specific area and level schools within the system: three over elementary schools, two over middle schools, and two over high schools.

Leadership Development

Leadership Development is committed to building and sustaining a strong, highly effective pipeline of leaders across the Cobb County School District. Through a purposeful, systemic approach and in collaboration with other departments, we identify, develop, support, and retain leaders at every stage of their leadership journey—from aspiring and emerging leaders to new and experienced school leaders.

Through the ongoing supervision and support of schools, we work alongside school leaders to establish clear expectations, monitor progress, provide feedback and coaching, address challenges, and identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement. This ongoing partnership strengthens principal leadership, promotes accountability, and ensures that leaders have the support and resources needed to lead their schools effectively.
