Whether it's in the classroom, on the court, helping their fellow students, or creating incredible opportunities for their futures, this senior class represented themselves and their schools proudly.

By the Numbers

  • Seniors earned more than $160 million in scholarships.
  • 223,000+ hours of community service completed.
  • About 5,700 graduates plan to attend a college.
  • 19 Ivy League acceptances.
  • Around 170 graduates plan to serve in the military, including 9 appointments to U.S. Military Academies.

Bright Futures Ahead

While Cobb seniors will be attending some of the top universities across the country, three schools will welcome the most 2026 Cobb graduates: Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and Chattahoochee Technical College.1.550c43130005.png

Through Cobb's Dual Enrollment initiative, many of those students have already earned several college credits before earning their high school diplomas. At Kell High School, one senior even earned her entire associate degree from Chattahoochee Tech before walking the stage at her high school graduation.

Among Cobb's valedictorians and salutatorians, six posted GPAs above 4.8, with three students from Campbell High School securing a 4.848 GPA. The average GPA for a valedictorian in Cobb exceeded 4.7.

These high-achieving students earned opportunities to attend colleges such as Dartmouth College, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

For students choosing to enter a career straight after graduation, about 1,000 graduates are already equipped with a career pathway certification and industry experience to set them up for success.

Excellence Beyond the Classroom

Whether through athletics, academic competitions, or service to fellow students and the Cobb community, this graduating class embodied excellence far beyond what was accomplished in the classroom.

Cobb seniors completed more than 223,000 hours of community service, leaving an example for younger students about the importance of giving back to the community.

At Harrison High School, seniors raised more than $24,000 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta through the Hoya Miracle initiative. Cobb's Class of 2026 is Built for Beyond, with nearly 300 student-athletes having already committed to play at the collegiate level. Those college-bound athletes contributed to more than 40 State Championships earned this year across all sports.

At Kennesaw Mountain High School, senior Isaiah Tucker became a five-time GHSA swimming state champion and signed to swim with Princeton University. North Cobb High School’s Jasmine Robinson captured multiple state track and field titles, including championships in hurdles and sprint events.

Whether earning the title of the state’s best actress, competing on a state championship basketball team or excelling in track and field, Cobb seniors demonstrated how their passions extended beyond the the classroom.

Scholarships for Future Success

The graduating Class of 2026 earned more than $160 million in scholarships as they embark on their next chapter in learning and growth.

Seniors across Cobb Schools earned prestigious scholarships, including the Posse Foundation Scholarship, QuestBridge Scholarship, STAMPS Scholarship, National Merit Scholarships, ROTC Scholarships, and several other major university presidential scholarships.

In many cases, these scholarships paved the way for students to attend college when it wouldn't have been an option otherwise. For others, it gave them the chance to attend the school to pursue their dreams without worrying about the financial burden.

From scholarships and elite university admissions to career certifications and military service, the success of the Class of 2026 reflects the dedication of Cobb’s One Team — families, staff, and the community — working together to prepare students for success long after graduation day.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are proud of all you have accomplished, and no matter where your journey toward success leads next, you will always be part of the Cobb Schools family.
