“Kincaid has a wonderful school community built on relationships,” shared Kincaid Principal Lauren Rabil. “I am excited to be part of such a committed and collaborative school.”

Drawn to Kincaid’s relationship-centered culture, Rabil looks forward to joining a community where students, staff, and families work together to support every child.

In the Q&A below, Principal Rabil shares more about her leadership approach, the importance of relationships, and her vision for partnering with families and staff to support students.

Question: What does “student success” mean to you?

Answer: "Student success is individual and looks different for each child; however, all students are successful when they grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year. It is so rewarding to see students’ development from the beginning of the year to the end of the year!"

Question: Under your leadership, how will you build on Kincaid's successes?

Answer: "The Kincaid community is highly committed to relationships, academic success, and family involvement. I am excited to continue building on those key foundations so that every child feels successful in their own way."

Question: What role do you see parents and the community playing in supporting student success?

Answer: "Our parents and Kincaid’s community play an essential role in student success by partnering with teachers and staff to create wrap-around support for all our students."

Question: What do you like most about being a principal?

Answer: "My absolute favorite part of being a principal is having a front‑row seat to experience all our students’ accomplishments as they learn, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential."

Question: Outside of school, where might parents and students find you?

Answer: "When I’m not at Kincaid, you can find me playing outside with my family and dog, enjoying a movie, or reading a new suspense mystery."
