IDEA Equitable Services Timely and Meaningful Consultation for Students with Disabilities attending Private (Non-Profit) and Home School: Ongoing Consultation for the 2025-2026 school year and Initial Consultation for the 2026-2027 School Year.

The Department of Special Education continues to engage in our ongoing IDEA Timely and Meaningful Consultation process. We will be holding two IDEA Equitable Services virtual sessions on November 11th, 2025, at 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM for families of students with disabilities parentally placed in non-profit private or home school. Topics including Child Find, IDEA Equitable Services, and the district's proportionate share obligation will be covered during these sessions. We will discuss the services that are currently available, including Speech and Language services, and begin planning for the 2026-2027 school year. You may provide feedback and register for a session via the QR code below. Individual consultations are available upon request. Please contact Teresa.Vento@cobbk12.org if you have any questions about this process.
