Support and Services Administrators (SSAs) are assigned to each CCSD school. This person is your special education contact at your local school. Babies Can’t Wait (BCW) is Georgia’s early intervention program that offers a variety of coordinated services for infants and toddlers with special needs, from birth to three years of age, and their families. Parent Information Fact Sheets have been created by the Georgia Department of Education on a variety of special education topics. Your Rights as Parents – Regarding Special Education is the full version of the Parent’s Rights outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Special Education: A Parent’s Guide to Understanding Rights and Responsibilities is a guide from the Georgia Department of Education designed to help you understand your rights and responsibilities regarding special education. |
