Meet Jennifer Vaughn, our first Staff Spotlight for the second semester. Mrs. Vaughn has served as the bookkeeper at our school since 2017. 

Mrs. Vaughn comes in contact with every teacher, every student, and every parent at our school in some form or fashion. She handles every fundraiser, every payment, and every check that enters our school. In addition, she handles all our bills and invoices. She works directly with our principal to help create a school budget each year. She also works directly with compliance auditors each year to ensure every financial transaction is completed with the utmost fidelity.

Without the work of Mrs. Vaughn, much of the magic that occurs at our school would not be possible. She works with vendors and actively shops for the lowest prices possible so that our school, our students, our staff, and our parents can have the highest quality products at the lowest possible price. She helps in answering the phones and greeting families in the front office. She troubleshoots and helps get answers for everyone. She supports our student celebrations by helping set up and clean up before and after the events. She ensures staff recognitions are also executed without a glitch. 

The commitment Mrs. Vaughn gives, the leadership she demonstrates, the integrity she lives by, the mindfulness she practices, and the balance she maintains make Pine Mountain Middle School one of the best places to teach, lead, and learn.
