November 12 — As Cobb Schools continues to see successes in the classroom, with higher standardized testing scores, record-breaking graduation rates, and recognition as one of the best places to work in the country, others around the world are starting to take notice. 

A new study conducted by Niche, ranked Cobb as the fifth best county to live in all of the United States.

"Cobb County is one of the best places to live in Georgia. In Cobb County, most residents own their homes. In Cobb County there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks… The public schools in Cobb County are highly rated," read the article.

Cobb Schools and its teachers, students, and families, also receive the benefits of Ed-SPLOST. This means that people who come to visit some of the big attractions in the county, like the Atlanta Braves, a small portion of thei money they spend directly goes to help grow and improve resources for all Cobb students. 

The Washington Post recently published an article analyzing the best places in the United States to raise a family, and Cobb County stood out as an excellent option.

When looking at factors such as affordability, education quality, and safety, Cobb County proves to be the best option for those around the metro.

Further proof lies in the results- the successes of students and families across the district. 

The newly released data from the state's report card shows Cobb Schools are only improving, and students are outpacing their Georgia peers. 

Not only are elementary, middle, and high schools in this district outperforming those in nearby districts, but they are also outpacing the state average. This factors in components like content mastery, readiness, and progress, which plays a pivotal role in having students be prepared to succeed in their next steps of education and life.
