In this episode of The Chairman's Brief, Mr. Scamihorn talks with Matt Sanders, the Executive Director of Cobb Schools' Transportation Department. Mr. Sanders is in charge of getting all of Cobb's students all the places they need to go with more than 1100 buses and vehicles running around 770 routes each school day.

A graduate of Pebblebrook High School, Mr. Sanders is a lifelong Cobb County resident. He began his career with the Cobb Transportation Department in 2003 as a bus driver himself. He has worked nearly every job in-between as he advanced through the department he now leads.

With this being Bus Safety Week, there is no better time to learn much more about Cobb's complex bussing needs and what it takes to make it happen each and every day. Click the video below to watch and listen as Mr. Sanders discusses buses and transportation in the second-largest school district in the state.
